Partners in Education

Community engagement is key to successful student learning. The BLRA Foundation Partners in Education program helps bring schools and businesses together through volunteering and student support activities. The program is designed as a ​partnership between a school and a business to cultivate positive relationships that benefit education and student learning.

About the Program

Are you interested in getting involved with Banning Lewis Academy? If so then this may be the program for your organization. The Partners in Education program is designed to involve and formally recognize community organizations and businesses as partners.

With a contribution of $1500 a year, your business or organization can help support the mission and vision of the BLRA Foundation and provide recognition and volunteer opportunities for your employees or members.

Recognition

Your donation of $1500 for one school year, which is used to help support the mission and vision of the BLRA Foundation, includes:

*A Thank You and recognition reception hosted by the BLRA Foundation

*Introduction to school community at a school event

*Recognition sign about the partnership between the BLRA Foundation and your business/organization

*Recognition in school communications

Opportunities

Partners are asked to support at least three school events or projects during the year. These may include:

*Display student artwork at your business/organization

*Be a guest speaker in our classrooms

*Feature "Students of the month" in your newsletters or website

*Volunteer to help students learn

*Participate in family involvement events

*Host field trips to your business or organization

*Recognize teachers and support staff

*Mentoring

Benefits

As a Partner in Education, your business or organization can participate in agreed upon school events and receive recognition for your commitment to education. These opportunities also allow business volunteers to be an active part of the school environment.
